WEEDRIVE started with a simple belief: transportation should work better for both the people who need rides and the people who provide them.
But the more we listened, the more we realized that transportation isn’t always about finding the closest available car. Often, it’s about dependability, relationships, and trust.
People commute to the same job every week. Businesses need reliable transportation for essential employees. Seniors and people who need extra assistance may need someone willing to help, wait, and make sure they get home safely. Travelers want a dependable ride to the airport. Families want drivers they know and trust. And sometimes people simply want to request a driver they’ve had before.
That’s the kind of transportation company we’re building.

Our vision is to connect people and organizations that repeatedly need dependable transportation with local drivers they can know and trust.
That vision includes a regular driver for work, scheduled airport transportation, transportation arranged by an employer, a trusted ride for an older adult, a safe ride home after an evening out, or the ability to request a favorite driver again.
Traditional on-demand rides will always have a place. But we believe transportation can be much more personal than matching a passenger with whichever car happens to be nearby.
BUILT FROM REAL TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS
WEEDRIVE wasn’t designed
around a conference table.
Many of the ideas behind WEEDRIVE came from conversations and situations we’ve encountered while driving: workers struggling with dependable transportation, businesses paying to make sure key employees get to work, passengers who repeatedly need the same rides, older adults who need additional assistance, and people who would rather ride again with a driver they already know.
Those experiences helped shape a different kind of transportation model—one built around scheduled rides, recurring transportation, trusted drivers, and human service.

Technology should make transportation better. It shouldn’t eliminate the human relationships that make great service possible.
WEEDRIVE is being built around human drivers and the communities they serve. We want drivers to earn more, passengers to receive better and more personal service, and local businesses and organizations to have transportation options they can depend on.
This is the vision guiding our growth. As we build toward it, we’ll introduce services thoughtfully, with dependable service at the center.

Safety is an important part of that vision. As WEEDRIVE grows, we’re developing additional protections designed to give passengers greater peace of mind while respecting the independence and privacy of our drivers.
The following safety features and programs represent our plans for the future. They are not currently available.
Standard Ride Safety
Every passenger deserves to feel safe, whether traveling across town or heading to the airport.
Our vision includes GPS trip monitoring, alerts for unusual route changes, and emergency notification features. These systems would account for normal traffic conditions, detours, and GPS inaccuracies.
These automated protections are intended to provide an additional layer of security without requiring continuous human monitoring or promising guaranteed emergency response.
Enhanced Safety Program
Some passengers need more than transportation. They need additional peace of mind.
We’re developing an optional enhanced safety service for families, parents, seniors, caregivers, and anyone who would appreciate additional security during their journey.
This program could offer additional trip monitoring, specialized drivers, and enhanced safety procedures for participating rides.
Certified Drivers
We believe professional drivers deserve recognition for their experience, training, and commitment to passenger safety.
Our proposed driver certification program would establish additional training and safety standards for drivers who choose to participate.
Participation would be voluntary, with opportunities for qualifying drivers to earn additional income through enhanced transportation services.
In-Vehicle Cameras
We’re exploring ways to use approved driver-owned dashcams and compatible connected cameras to provide additional protection for both passengers and drivers.
Camera recording and live viewing are different capabilities. Any future live viewing would be limited to authorized personnel during appropriate safety incidents, with strict privacy and security safeguards.
Privacy and Respect
Safety should never come at the expense of personal privacy.
Any future recording or live monitoring would require appropriate notice, consent, secure access, and clear policies governing how information is used and retained.
